Richard Elliott, MD

Dr. Elliot is employed faculty of Florida Atlantic University. Prior to joining FAU, Dr. Elliott taught and held leadership positions at the Medical College of Georgia, Medical College of Virginia and Mercer College of Medicine, where he served as the Program Director for the Psychiatry Residency.  He completed his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin in Biophysics and his M.D. from the University of Wisconsin Medical School.

Dr. Elliott completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin Medical School in Psychiatry. He completed fellowships in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Rush-Presbyterian-St.Luke’s Medical Center and Law and Psychiatry at the Isaac Ray Center at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke’s Medical Center.

Dr. Elliott is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and holds certifications from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry, Forensic Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry, the American Medical Society on Alcoholism and other Drug Dependencies and the American Board of Forensic Psychiatry.

Jason Cohen, DO

Dr. Cohen is board certified in General Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Cohen has previous experience providing psychiatric care for the Hanley Center in West Palm Beach, FL. He has also provided addictions services in Miami, FL. He is an experienced provider of TMS.

Dr. Cohen earned his Doctor of Osteopathy at Nova Southeastern College of Osteopathic Medicine in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He then completed General Psychiatry Residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, FL.

linda gettinger-dinner, arnp

Linda Gettinger-Dinner is a licensed nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in psychiatric practice. She provides individual medication management and psychotherapy.

She has previously served as an educator and director of several nursing programs. She has experience as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in community outpatient psychiatry and addictions residential treatment.

Linda Gettinger-Dinner earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Downstate Medical Center School of Nursing. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing (ARNP) at Florida International University. She then completed her Doctor of Health Science at Nova Southeastern University.

She is is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Jeffrey Goidel, PhD

Dr. Goidel is a licensed psychologist with over 30 years of experience in the treatment of mental illness in private practice, hospitals, and schools. He provides individual, couples, and family therapy for children, adults, and seniors. He provides psychological and psycho-educational testing.

Dr. Goidel has previously served as a school psychologist and is experienced in providing psychological services for children with special needs. He was previously a regular contributing psychologist in a NY radio station and an on-air psychologist for a television talk show geared towards teenagers.

Dr. Goidel earned his Bachelor’s Degree at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY. He then completed his formal training by obtaining a PhD in Psychology at California School of Professional Psychology in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Goidel went on to complete his internship training at the Child Guidance Center, Costa Mesa, CA and the Dept of Rehabilitation and Neuropsychology at Northridge (CA) Hospital.

Dr. Goidel is trilingual in English, Spanish and Yiddish.
